Professor Jacob Lee Erdman Ares BJJ Phoenix Lead Professor and Owner

Jacob is a Black Belt under Professor Queixinho which he earned all his belts from White to Black Belt. He teaches both kids and adult programs and is an owner oprator of Ares BJJ Phoenix. Jacob started his jiu jitsu under the guidance of professor Osvaldo Quiexinho and has been growing in skill ever since, as an athlete and instructor. But what makes Jacob a great instructor is his willingness to work with anyone new to jiu jitsu, whether it be giving students extra tidbits on certain techniques or simply helping them whenever they need it.

Ares BJJ Founder Professor Osvaldo Queixinho Moizinho

Osvaldo Augusto Moizinho, commonly known as “Queixinho” is a 3rd Degree Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt who earned the rank while training under the Soul Fighters founding members (Rafael Barbosa, Leandro Escobar, Bruno Mendes and Augusto “Tanquinho”), although he is also known for his time spent as a student and teammate of Caio Terra and as the founder of the Ares BJJ team. A Rio de Janeiro native, Queixinho made his name in the sport of jiu-jitsu competing in the United States, where he conquered World and Pan American titles.

Keven Carrasco Kids & Adult BJJ Instructor

Keven is a Black belt and Assistant instructor under Professor Osvaldo Queixinho Moizinho. Keven has been training since he was 9 years old. He is a product of the Youth Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Program. He’s also a highly decorated Jiu Jitsu athlete and has won many titles over the years. He is the 2019 Rooster Purple Belt IBJJF World Champion and 2020 IBJJF Pan Am Champion Brown Belt. 2021 Third coast grappling Champion Black Belt
